ABOUT DR. MEGHAN WALDRON, OWNER AND EDUCATOR

Dreamer since birth, Meghan Waldron is excited to take her love of writing and share it with her students ages eight-eighteen. Meghan loves words, and she deeply believes all students have an innate ability to share their story. Through hands-on activities, personal reflection and honest feedback, Meghan provides students with confidence and excitement about writing. Meghan is also a professional writer providing copy, editing, and revision to local companies and international organizations. Waldron has been fortunate to publish a few academic papers in 2023 as well.

When Meghan isn't creating new lessons, studying, or writing, she can be found camping or on a mountain somewhere with her sons. Meghan holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish and a Masters in the Art of Teaching. She is a certified English teacher, and earned her K12 Administrative Endorsement from James Madison University in 2022; through the program, she completed a 400 hour internship in both the elementary and secondary levels. Meghan worked for almost two decades in K12 education, and she is now in Higher Education serving in an advising capacity.

Dr. Waldron defended her dissertation, "Identifying Barriers: Analysis of Federal Law Enforcement Social Media and Recruitment Efforts." She received her EdD in Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University in May 2024.

MR. GREG LEHEW, OPERATIONS MANAGER AND EDUCATOR

Much like Frost, LeHew took the road less traveled, and it has made all the difference. After five years of service in the U.S. Army, successfully completing jump school and multiple deployments overseas, LeHew landed at Auburn University. There he studied English Lit and after a brief career in editing, he moved onto corporate America and eventually, the classroom. LeHew taught English and Reading in Richmond City for seven years, and has been a proud Moody Raider for the last nine. At Moody he has taught both IB English and standard English.

Currently, he is pursuing another passion - physical education tying his love for teaching with his love for sports. When not in the classroom, Mr. LeHew can often be found on a sideline somewhere coaching or cheering on his five very active sons. LeHew is certified in English, History, and Physical Education.

LeHew recently graduated from West Virginia University with a Masters in Sports Administration.

PHILOSOPHY

All students have a story, and we help them tell it.

VISION

We seek to build our students' confidence on and off the page by identifying voice. Writing is personal, and when students learn techniques of the craft, confidence soars. We have helped kids work successfully through online learning and school closures.

UNIQUENESS

We create goals for each student based on his or her individual wants and needs. Students meet for multiple sessions per contract. Most clients renew and stay with us throughout the school year and summer. 1:1 classes meet once per week, SLC groups meet twice a week.

EXPERIENCE

With over sixty years of combined experience in the public and private sectors, we bring new ideas and innovative practices to our classes. Our teachers are all highly qualified educators.
